Q: What is a Root Canal Treatment?
A: Your tooth have nerve tissue inside and when that gets infected with bacteria you will need root canal treatment.  During the procedure the nerve tissue will be cleaned and empty space will be filled with Gutta Purcha after disinfection of your tooth.

Q: What is periodontal disease?
A: Periodontal disease come about when your teeth are not clean and plaque builds up on your teeth.  The plaque buildup will provide perfect habitat for bacteria to grow, and when bacteria grow they infect your gums.  Bacteria also eat all the sugar and carbohydrate products that go into your mouth and produce sulfur containing compounds and that is the reason a person will have bad breath.  Infection of your gums will cause your gums to bleed while brushing.  If left also over time it will cause resorption of the bone around your teeth and that will lead to loose teeth which eventually would have to be lost.
